Love the song but not the video. Usher used to make some good videos he has fell off on this…it should have been better. Also, is Robin Thicke the only male artists that has brown skin women as love interest in his video??? I’m just saying…this video same formula – weave, exoctic looking, skinny, typical….
I like it but how come the men never get called out for selling s** in there videos ?
doublestandards ?

That man should have done the video better than what is was its not him its the management and the producers well he needs to get a better team like his mom cause his videos is going down the hill he has no competition trey and chris have a long time
That girl was obviously a Chilli lookalike
I’m getting so sick of every music video, movie, tv show etc show a black man but don’t feel the need to have a black woman as his better half. If the media is to go by then there are no black women in the world or when there does seem to be one in a movie or video she always looks the same…VERY light skinned. Black women come in many shades and sizes these black entertainers need to step up and show the sista off to the world instead of putting them in a closet as if they aren’t beautiful or appreciated. You’ll see the husband and son be dark skinned, but the daughter and mother are always light skinned, mixed, or latino. It’s ridiculous. Usher’s GF Chili and Ex Tameka are obviously african american women, but when have you seen him have a woman that looks anything like them in any of his videos or ad campaigns that havn’t been his dancers shaking their ass? I’m really trying to think of one but can’t, with the exception of actually having Chili in his vid. He’s not the only singer/rapper that does this. Dark skinned or even brown skinned sistas get’s no love in the entertainment industry it seems and by our own black men to top it off. It blows my mind. Sorry for my little rant but this just has been on my mind with every video, tv show, or movie i watch lately. And it’s really sad.
I think if they was going to make a s*** video for this song, then at least be a bit more creative and artistic in the direction, so it can truly compliment the song, the video was dry for peoples tastebuds, perhaps it co could have been less teasing and more fully satisfying
That YouTube video was pulled for a copyright claim. I have the whole thing at my site. Here it is. Usher – There Goes My Baby

I agree with Tee and Quin. This is a major problem in the entertainment industry, especially among black artists’ music videos. Videos disproportionately feature female models/love interests who either look mixed, exotic, or as close to white as possible. You would think they (the artists) would be more conscious of it. I think it’s really time for consumers to take a stand against this form of discrimination. It’s their prerogative to put who they want in their videos but I don’t have to support them in the process, nor do others who care about this issue. I’ve also noticed this in the lyrics to rappers’ songs. So many of them rap about their preference for ‘high yellow’ or ‘red bones’ meanwhile many of the females who are supporting them by requesting their music or even buying it are brown skin sisters. This ranking of women purely based on skin tone is never going to change if people don’t start at least publicly speaking out about it.
FYI ANNE: The model in his video is BLACK . (she’s of African descent) She’s from Eritrea which borders near Ethiopia, in case your interested.
The video was ok, NOT Memorable, but just ok, the only good part was when he jumped on top of the roof to kiss the girl……… But this could be just me, but Usher is loosing his s** appeal, maybe it’s his age….. yea, it’s his age….lol
Isn’t the woman in the video black? She looks black to me. Usher has dark-skinned black women in his Lil Freak video. I don’t care about the hue of the black woman, just as long as her race is black. Please tell me that this woman is black. Please, please, please find out her name yall.
@Diane, if you have to ask or do research to confirm her race then that just reinforces our point.
@Anne, your point is well taken. But the video chick looks black to me, and I’m usually sensitive about these things. So, I guess I wanted to reassure myself that I was not losing my “I know black people when I see them” touch.
The song is amazing but the video ruins it for me. Sorry, Ush
So far, it is rumored that she is Ayan Elmi, a black model from Somalia.
the one who pulls the race card is LAME.
Talk about LAME once there are 90% of white artists who have “black” women as their leading lady. Everybody likes to see themselves represented. Everybody! Subject closed!
Video was ok, a little under budget, but if you’re not Gaga, they all are these days. Song-I REALLY like.
Hey Guys please stop talking about Usher having “a mixed raced girl” in his video.. The girl in his video is a Somali born supermodel Ayaan Elmi. And she is 100% African (Somalia). That’s how most people in Horn of Africa look like. You should be happy at least he chose a real African sister.
@ SSSS..the reason people ask is
1. BECAUSE IN 90 % OF USHER’S VIDEOS, as well as those of other black male singers/ rappers of late E VERY DAMN FEMALE LEAD IS mulatto, a mexican, a white girl, some sort of unidentifiable cross breed, an Asian or someone who is OBVIOUSLY not black enough that we know what the hell she is.. AND YES IT MATTERS GOD DAMMIT!
Usher is BLACK, his mama is BLACK.. his ex wife BLACK.. and black women are most under-represented in the media and represented in the WORST way in the White Supremacist (Racist) system.. therefore we don’t want to watch video after video where the men we give birth to paint a world that eliminates us from the picture where love and beauty is concerned.
2. In the UNITED STATES, where Usher’s primary market is , MOST OF US ARE NOT FROM THE HORN OF AFRICA… therefore, we do not always recognize what Somali women look like, though Iman is more identifiable as a black woman.. I was thinking the woman was Eritrean or maybe Ethiopian, but with Usher’s track record of using mulatto, Mexican whatever the hell kind of females as his leads, I HAD TO WONDER MYSELF.
now that we KNOW she is African we are happy IN THIS CASE.. but my goodness, it would be nice to see the type of female ( CONSISTENTLY) featured in his videos, whos ethnicity we DON”T have to scratch our heads about… we don’t have to wonder what USHER’S ethnicity is do we?
I never have to wonder what ethnicity the women in Musiq’s videos are. Black women are featured and adored in ALL of his videos.
Why do you care so badly if shes black or white? Shes extremely beautiful so why does color matter?
It sounds like you are the ones discriminating to me..
You’re allowed to have a personal preferrence, if a man likes light or dark skin better what are you hating for? if usher wanted her in the video or either way theres no reason to make it a race-thing . If you’re so heated that no “brownskinnedsistas” are in the indusrty, then stop complaining, and change that yourself.
Genetic engineering and genomics are playing a vital role in many drugs synthesis industries so biotechnological engineers are much interested in these techniques.
In addition as the guidance is produced by the ICH and filters down through the member regulatory
systems into law, and in non ICH member states who perceive it as a gold standard, tough standards become
very hard for small local manufactures to meet.
The book written by experienced professionals gives an overview of how to apply biotechnology in drug development process.
