Kelly Rowland is a star looking to birth a group of stars on BET‘s new hit show ‘Chasing Destiny.’
The R&B diva has teamed with renown creative director Frank Gatson for the project and together they aim to discover music’s next big girl group.
Beyond her Destiny’s Child credentials, Ms. Kelly was part of the panel that put together British Pop outfit Little Mix, hence she’s putting ample pressure on herself to deliver again.
With a deal with Epic Records on the table, who will make the final cut?

Nah, you can tell the Kells is learning that her angle is beyond trying be a solo act. As she shared in her breakfast club interview… There’s a need for.l a group. Although our American ways lead us to believe every-one- should strive to lead and be a solo force… It’s also worthy to know when you are better as an aid and or ehancer to a greater good. Meaning… Some people are destined to be a support or one who fuels and feeds those called to lead. I think Kelly is learning she is gifting in supporting and cultivating. Not saying she can’t do her own thing but I’m not sure that’s where she is called to excel. It takes a mature and confident person to know if there are called to assist and not try to lead.

Boyyy BYEEE!!!!! Kelly is doing well for herself as a solo artist! The music industry has drastically changed… the entire industry is having problems with record sales due to excess online downloading! Some of your biggest stars cant even full in 35k 1st week! JLO, Mariah Carey, Ciara to name a few… Its not her, its not her music, its the industry period! Thats y she said it is better to be apart of a group nowadays then solo coming into this industry. Theirs nothing wrong with discovering new talent and expanding your brand!
I love Kelly but she never promotes herself. She comes across as lazy. Like she is okay with not winning.

I agree… I hope season 2 is not about finding more talent but documenting the girls she chose to be in the group. Their journey to super stardom.
Episode 2 was great can defo see few TRUE stars and a few who sound too flat or look too nervous.
The girl who’s been in several groups seems to look and feel out of her depth. If she dont own IT she going real quick.
