VH1 continue to impress with the line-up for their revived ‘Divas’ special.
For, Teyana Taylor is the latest name to join the list of performers at the December 5th event.

Billboard revealed that the singer will appear on the bill alongside previously announced powerhouses Mariah Carey and Patti Labelle.
While it marks Taylor’s first run with the franchise, which is returning after a four-year hiatus, she has shone on VH1 already this year in a big way.
Indeed, she was the definitive star of network’s ‘Hip-Hop Honors’ special back in July, where she turned in a show-stopping tribute to Lil Kim.
She also earned praise aplenty for her scintillating performance in Kanye West’s ‘Fade’ video.
Will she bring the same strand of slay she’s been showcasing all year? We sure hope so!
Boasting a Christmas theme, ‘VH1 Divas: Unsilent Night’ airs Dec 5th at 9pm ET on VH1.

First of all.. lets not act like Teyana can’t sing. She blows. Its obvious she’s made a new friend in Vh1. Her Kim Tribute landed her a recurring role on Vh1’s ‘The Breaks’ and HipHip Squares. It’s clear they recognize her talent.

Good for her. But I rather they re-air the first two divas series from ’98 and ’99. Maybe Mariah can duet with Whitney like she did on tour. That’d be a good performance.
