Bruno Mars‘ ‘24k Magic‘ has dominated iTunes following his appearance at last night’s ‘American Music Awards.’

The album and its parent single which share the same name swam to #1 on the albums and singles tally respectively shortly after he took to AMA stage to support them.

The set is expected to sell around 120,000 units in its opening week sans streams and is gearing up to battle The Weeknd‘s ‘Starboy’ LP on the Billboard 200 when it hits retailers at the end of the week.

Peep ‘Magic’s track list below…

He was tanking, AMAs is kinda saving the era

How Cesar doing? Are you both still together?

I must say I enjoyed this album of Brunos. The weeknds voice on a whole album is too much but I am going to give it a go, because I really want to understand what his hype is all about.

  3. Theman November 21, 2016

He wasn’t tanking. He’ll probably sale some more. He’s very talented!

  4. B_Roni November 21, 2016

Man this is good . This is the first time I’m actually buying a Bruno album

  5. S****** Blonde November 21, 2016

He’s talented but we shouldn’t support artists based solely on the fact that they’re talented, he’s serving us mediocrity, talented or not, the music is mediocre.

    • Stephy November 21, 2016

IN YOUR OPINION. Stop stating that s*** like it’s a fact. The man is serving music, period. And has talent.

      • S****** Blonde November 21, 2016

The other album was better IMO.

      Amen

I like The Weeknd but i don’t think enough people are talking about him. Bruno Mars mowed him down! I think Bruno will be dominating the charts till after the holidays.

  7. Emma Roberts Stan November 21, 2016

The Weekend is boring and can’t even sing. Bruno will come out on top based off of his talent alone.

  8. SMH November 21, 2016

Well performance-wise, Bruno killed The Weeknd last night. The Weekend is way too boring and basic, Bruno is actually alive when he’s on stage.

    • JOHNVIDAL November 21, 2016

Bruno is a better artist overall no doubt. Weekend being hot will pass. A different story is that right now, his material seems a little bit more fresh, but he´s also newer. I don´t think he´ll ever be as big as Bruno worldwide.

    Slay Bruno Slay

  10. JOHNVIDAL November 21, 2016

He deserves it damn it! It´s too early for such a good artist to be underperforming on the charts (which is very surprising in its own). But talent prevails, and just like how happened with Gaga when she finally promoted on tv on release week, people showed up and supported them when reminded of their real talent.

Bruno is an international pop star. The Weekend is a local fad. There’s that.

    • BEY>RIH November 21, 2016

We can’t say The Weeknd is a fad yet, but he is nowhere near globally known as Bruno Mars.

    • Rosie November 21, 2016

Abel is local yet Starboy outpeaked 24K Magic everywhere ? And he’s far from a fad. He’s been building up his fanbase since 2011. He sold 85K first week in 2012 with a compilation of mixtapes that were already availiable for FREE for a year by then. A mess.

  12. Theman November 21, 2016

His sales were marked up greatly & there’s a possibility that they’ll go higher. Everyone knew that those lower numbers wouldn’t be it.

  13. Rosie November 21, 2016

I hope he can break 130K pure sales if it stays that’s high. If he gets another hit it’ll have longevity, which is really what matters most.
Still a far cry from the 400K his label expected at the beginning. 1-800-MANAGER, indeed.
