I am so proud of her. Her stage presence and overall confidence has grown tremendously. She could always sing, she has a beautiful voice which has gotten much stronger I must say. “Work” it out girl!! She has grown as an artist and must be respected for that. I have ‘Ms. Kelly’ I thought it was a good album. I’m not sure why it didn’t do that well on the charts. Maybe its because people can’t seem to not compare her to “others”. Let kelly be kelly. And I liked that she didn’t mention the other two in Bootylicous. Do they mention her when they perform that? I don’t know. She named her dancers, which few do. Props for that.
I agree her best performance that I’ve seen from her. She brought the energy so well that I got chills up my spine. She hyped the crowd, singed, dance, all at the same time.

I like the fact that she is speaking her dreams into existence. she always said that she wantd to be a psych major to better understand kids and now she becoming an author for the kids. she expressed her love for tv after being on girfriends and eve and now she is getting her own show and she headling events now. i for one aam proud that she is moving up in the world.

I honestly, to tell you the truth, love the song Work. The version she chose to perform was VERY weak and wack. She gets a negative nod for that one. But she did better on Dilemma. I’m tired of her doing the same type of set though, c’mon Kelly, switch it up. I’m not hating WHAT SO EVER! I love Kelly and always have supported her and DC. The DC Medley was great. I wish she sang some of the lead vocals, but it’s okay. She knows she’s not Beyoncé and she’s not trying to be. It’s weird to see her perform them on stage by herself. I’m used to Beyoncé taking over the spotlight, but whatever. I love Kelly, but she has a long way to go before she could ever grace the stage and rock the house like Beyoncé could.
false – kelly is doing her thing and she graced the stage like only SHE COULD. she commanded stage and my eyes were on her the whole time – kelly takes u to bed – bey takes you to the club – michelle takes u to church – thats how it used to be but thats slowy but surely changing – kelly can bring the house down and stomp but its not her personality or her style – shes like a patti labelle while bey is def like a tina turner of our generation – 2 totally different styles but lets not forget that patti has those power ballads and can bring the house down too ala kelly – she will shine when her time comes -until then shell be still putting out albums , books and her tv show so i think shell be ok
This was a decent set. However,I don’t think it was her best. Was she confident? Yes. Did she hype the crowd? Yes. Did she utilize the stage? Yes. Were her vocals on point? At times. What I love about Kelly is her spontanaity. What I don’t like is her inconsistency.
im not a hater, cuz i dont i wouldnt be lookin at these performances if i just down out didnt like Kelly…but, she sounded a hotttt mess to me. she mumble though the whole thing. i dont get it. very hard to listen too. she was wit the Beyonce thing too much and i say that cuz her stage presence looks all to familar and because Bee does it better, she taken her style. y is kelly as a solo artist so simliar to DC.

Performance was OK. Too many request for fan participation. As far as the hair goes. Wow.
The weave is not good. I do not have a clue what to suggest here so I will leave it alone. Voice was better than I expected. The dancing left a lot to be desired. Beyonce’s performances are much, much better. She is a better singer. Rihanna is not a performer. Her singing is a novelty with limited range. Beauty is one thing. Showmanship is quite another. The winner here, in my humble opinion, is Beyonce. No doubt.
If I had not been watching the video I would have thought it was Beyonce singing—-Kelly is talented-has a great voice and stage presence! She is her own person and to hell with those who say she is in the shadow of Beyonce!The comments about nappy hair, etc shows ignorance. To compare Kelly with her dark skin to Rhianna, who is opposite, is just a perpetuation of racist thinking. Educate yourself as to who you are and stop putting down those who are doing something positive with their lives!
