It is absolutely DISGUSTING the ways in which MOONLIGHT is being pissed on in favor of a lily white LALA LAND filled with all of the stereotypes of conventions of a singular, non-inclusive, American thread. MOONLIGHT represents not only the core of raw, everyday narrative, but it films along the specific strings that tie movies together — visually beautiful. There is no way in hell that Moonlight deserved to be snubbed in each of its respective categories after winning so many of the TOP categories amongst critics and other cinema circles this recent awards season. I am extremely disappointed and sickened once again by this American tragedy.
It won an award, not sure which one.
Best Picture – Drama. The biggest award of the night, but it’s TOTALLY getting snubbed. *eyeroll*
You’re either asleep, on drugs, or beyond biased and without an ounce of credibility. La La Land has been sweeping at the awards even before the Golden Globes.
Furthermore, Moonlight is getting nominations everywhere. How exactly is it getting snubbed? Last year, the complaints were about not being nominated. This year, the complaints are about not winning every single award? Get over yourself. Not everyone shares your opinion about the film – regardless of how great it is.
U just said it was getting snubbed….
Well done to the n!((as, but white Hollywood just wanted to shut y’all up for y’all whining so much last year? now get back, to the back of the bus where y’all belong
Why are you on a predominantly urban and African American blog and you’re racist? Sounds like another case of Kardashian-Itis. Don’t be mad at us because your Casper the friendly ghost ass wasn’t born black.
The beautiful, talented Viola Davis! You betta slay! And congrats to Ryan Gosling, with your fine self…now THAT’S white chocolate….yaaaaaaas lol
Can we just talk about how amazing Viola Davis and Meryl Streep are. I’m in love with them.
Yaaaaaaas, exceptional talent! #QueenStreep #QueenDavis
Lololol. @ Ryan gosling being white chocolate

Yay! Congrats to Emma Stone, Ryan Gosling, Viola Davis, Tracee Ellis Ross and Sarah Paulson! The People vs OJ has been racking up awards all year.
Her speak was so brilliant. So very very proud of her. Words can’t express.

It felt like everyone deserved their award tonight. The surprise show for me this year was The Crown. Those royals are so fascinating.
Forgot this was on but yes to Atlanta and Donald Glover on his wins
