Drake‘s sold out arena dates in London have offered his loyalists far more than live shows to chew into this month.
For, after becoming an honorary Brit by way of his endorsement of several acts in the market, the Canadian superstar sat down for what may be his most interesting interview to date.
How he really feels about Nicki Minaj, his supposed writer Quentin Miller, Meek Mill and more?
Drake, as you’ve never heard him before, below…
Even though ‘Hotline Bling’ is not a rap song… the only category they can manage to fit me in is a rap category.Maybe because I’ve rapped in the past or because I’m black, I can’t figure out why… I won two awards last night—but I don’t even want them, because it just feels weird for some reason.
I still wonder that myself, why are artists categorize into a certain genre because of their race?
exactly.
Right I agree but I feel like the awards show will become obsolete soon. They don’t mean anything anymore.
Like who cares make good music and tour.
I would call it a rap song
Nelly melodized that doesn’t mean he’s a singer
really good interview. Drake doesn’t get enough credit for his talent. He is an amazing writer. People try to discredit him just because he makes pop music but you can’t deny his talent. He also seems like a good person who mean well….trash ni99as like Meek should take pointers.
The Grammys are irrelevant now which is a good thing because it’s time we start our own academy of music award show.
I believe that is coming up next. If these power house artists can come together, the white washed shows would go out of business for sure
true.
Really good interview. The part where he talked about the Grammys was some of the realest s*** ?
He knows the deal.. I hope they revamp the categories next year. It’s silly. Hotline Bling is a pop song!
He did good. The only thing he said about Nicki was that he never wanted to say anything to disrespect her while feuding with meek m.
Nice
He sort of admitted that he doesn’t write his own lyrics…..
