Manchester, England and concertgoers worldwide continue to be shaken by the horrific terrorist attack at Ariana Grande‘s concert at the Manchester Arena this week. As we reported here, the latest news indicates 22 people died and 59 were injured as a result of the attack, staged by 22-year-old suicide bomber Salman Abedi.
Yet, while officials have not been able to confirm any connection to Abedi and the terror organization ISIS, arrests have been made as part of an ongoing investigation. According to sources:
“…Prime Minister Theresa May announced Tuesday (May 23) that the nation’s threat level had been raised from “severe” to “critical.” As part of their probe, police arrested three unnamed men in south Manchester on Wednesday (May 24) in addition to a 23-year-old man taken into custody on Tuesday.”
Meanwhile, reports have it Grande is doing her part to help the families of the slain. Look inside for details:
After reaching Florida to be reunited with her family, Ariana Grande has reportedly offered to cover funeral costs for the lives lost in the Manchester attack.
Claims surfaced Tuesday (May 23) from a fan account “@ArianaDailyWW.” The page shared that the 23-year-old had reached out to the families of victims killed Monday evening (May 22), when a suicide bomber detonated a device right after the singer’s concert at the Manchester Arena.
As we reported here, the ‘One Last Time’ singer has suspended the rest of her tour as a result of the attack.
Very noble of you Ariana!
Chile bye… she is not paying one cent. Live Nation tour promotion is paying the entire bill. They are worried about her future concerts that will affect their pockets or a possible and impending lawsuit.
Much respect.
very noble
I can only imagine how traumatized she must be. This is an amazing gesture, it’s the least the victims and their families deserve.
Big Ups Ari !
I support that about her…
Very good for her to do this. But she should really use this to work in her favor. She has people liking her and she does not have that b**** persona anymore. And the public is forgetting about her licking donuts. She should release a song in support of the tragedy and it can be an international hit and get her back on better terms than the era gave her.
