‘The Real’ is about to live up to its billing in a major new way.
FOX‘s daytime taker is making changes for its upcoming fourth season and we have the full scoop.
Details below…
Over the last three years, the show – which is anchored by Tamera Mowry, Loni Love, Adrienne Bailon, and Jeannie Mai – has been pre-taped.
Now, when it returns for its next cycle on September 18th, it’ll be broadcasting live.
The move sees the series up the ante and join the live ranks alongside talk titles such as ‘The Wendy Williams Show’ and ‘The View.’
It also seems to suggest that FOX are committed to its success and future in a big way.
Speaking on the switch up, Executive Producer Rachel Miskowiec said in a statement:
“Going live is something we’ve wanted to do for a long time. Our fans are passionate and outspoken and we’re so excited to give them the opportunity to have a voice at the table. It’s going to get even more real on The Real!”
A major media campaign is planned in the run-up to its return.

Well push through, ladies!
We love an underdog and love it even more when they defy the odds. And ‘The Real’ is doing exactly that.
First they entered the talk arena at its most crowded, but have managed consistent renewals. Then there was Tamar-gate, which is a hurdle they’ve successfully cleared. And now they’re in a better position to cover hot topics with this live format.
A good look.
Good for them
*yawns*
Good, shows will be that much better!
Might as well, none of them have s*** else to do.
