Anything to keep the same people in the headlines as always with this blog anything to acknowledge Beyoncé, Rita, and Nicki. Yet with almost three decades in entertainment and continuously overcoming and preserving all this blog does is shade Mariah or give her back handed compliments. Yet half of people y’all praise besides Beyoncé and JayZ could only dream of one tenth of her longevity and a fraction of her success. Even with her missteps her name still attracts an audience and rings bells.

Somebody better come and steal all those unsold copies of Reputation off the shelves. There’s so many copies that it takes up all the space in the stores. ?
This was quite the year in pop culture my goodness. And so many good movies came out this year like “Get Out” and although technically 2016 “Moonlight” deserves mention for its Oscar win. Definitely didn’t see that coming.
It’s obvious that this is a Beyonce fan site ?
This was also the year in which I became truly embarrassed for the first time to be a Nicki Minaj fan. The way she was so ready to respond to perceived disses from Remy Ma with lines in ‘Make Love’ and ‘Swalla’ only to be dragged through the mud with ‘Shether’ less than 2 days later… Walking straight into a trap and severely underestimating her opponent. She must have been taken aback, going at everybody else on social media while trying to pretend to be unbothered for 2 weeks. Then when she did respond weeks later it was with some truly lackluster bars. “Back to back, oh you mean back to wack? … rah took you to her doc but you don’t look like rah. Left the operating table still look like nah.” How you call yourself the rap queen but can’t come with a good response to someone who dragged your whole life? Then there’s the fact she’s been saying her album about to drop since “Run Up” came out in January, only to drop feature after feature all year, most of them which have been underwhelming until only recently when she started dropping some fire verses again. The clock’s ticking and eventually people move on.
Really. Nicki actually split the whole diss thing into many tracks that actually ended up charting and increased her billboard legacy. Bitter remy’s songs couldn’t chart. She is way too bitter thinking she could use the whole diss to be relevant, instead she ended up fooling herself
You know sometimes this blog shows Everyday a struggle type potential, real good non bias content.
Then other times it’s no different to the paidroom, b*****, teatenders etc
Which is surprising since industry folk are the ones writing the misspelled, misinformed, shady and paid PR content.
The categories and the nominees are as trash as a VMA or Grammy awards.
The fact that More Life a project Drake has explicitly said is not an album sits in an album of the year category.
Or the fact that Letoya Back to Life isn’t mentioned in underrated album
Miguel isn’t underrated whatsoever. His new work is just trash.
Beyonce for being Beyonce… ya’ll where bored at this point huh?
Or how about the fact that Sexual Scandal is even a nominated topic to vote upon as shocking moment of the year. Sexual abuse is not a topic that should be voted on in any way shape or form. The fact that it is in a poll is real tasteless and suggests that someone in TGJ believes the other topics compare. They don’t.

What the hell is up with the Tv show & Movie nominations? No Stranger Things or Game of Thrones or Masters of None on Netflixs I understand INSECURE because that show is amazing but the Others? And Movies Where is Logan, guardians of the galaxy vol 2, Thor Ragnarok or Star Wars the last Jedi? This is Crazy?

I don’t like these nominees or categories…the fact that Demi Lovato who had an amazing year in music with Sorry Not Sorry and the Tell Me You Love Me album is not nominated and her performances this era vocally slayed all her contemporaries. Like diversify TGJ
