The ceremony took place as Oscar buzz continues to grow for her new movie ‘Mudbound.’

An artist of MJB’s stature can never be underrated. She’s sold too many records, won too many Grammy’s, has No.1s from the last 3 decades, collaborated with everyone from Aretha to U2, Elton, George Michael, Sam Smith etc
Now, if you’re saying she’s underrated among pop music fans or folks under 25? Perhaps.
But don’t insult this legends career by referring to her as ‘underrated.
I truly felt insulted as a MJB fan reading that.
