Pop powerhouse Ariana Grande is strutting on full steam to the release of her fourth studio album ‘Sweetener.’

Lead single ‘No Tears Left To Cry’ is already a hit (having peaked at #3) and now Ari is looking to Missy Elliott for more magic.

In a new interview with Fader, not only is it confirmed that the LP is being released in August, Elliott’s inclusion was also revealed:

On ‘Borderline,’ another Pharrell production, Missy Elliott makes a guest appearance, an experience that Ariana has been aiming for since she was crazy young, dancing in her room to Missy’s music, and studying her music videos directed by Dave Meyers, who ended directing the clip for ‘No Tears Left To Cry.’

Elsewhere, it’s shared that ‘Sweetener’ will be primarily helmed by Pharrell (on the more experimentative side) and music maestro Max Martin who’s moulded the more traditional Pop bops.

Besides Missy, Nicki Minaj is also featured on the recently teased ‘The Light Is Coming.’

Ari always comes through album-wise; so we’re naturally hyped. Still, with this being LP #4, she’s tasked with cranking things up a notch.
