‘A Star Is Born’ is losing none of its shine at the box office – a month on from release.
Indeed, the Lady Gaga led flick and its accompanying soundtrack have remained in the upper echelon of charts across the globe. So much so that it’s widely being touted as a top contender at the Oscars, Grammys, and many other awards.
One of the songs powering its domination is ‘Always Remember Us This Way’ – a video for which has just been unwrapped.
Sure ‘Shallow’ has been the project’s undeniable touchdown, however it’s notable that ‘Always’ has been a firm fixture in the iTunes top 10 in the US and globally. Has the LP birthed its next big smash? Watch the video below and let us know…
What we’re loving about the project holistically is how much it contributes to Gaga’s catalogue.
‘A Star Is Born’ has enriched her discography in such a plentiful way; songs such as this pack a potency that’ll see them rouse years on from now.
She slayed. Period.
Gaga is playing this whole roll out in the smartest way and i am HERE FOR IT!
Side note: I would love to see ThatGrapeJuice post more artists that don’t get the clout they deserve! Like this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=48V0GCP9Xl4
Thank you, next!
all hail mother monster
She’s definitely versatile as hell and so talented. Even though her young, pop fan base has jumped ship and “poker face” Gaga is far in the rear view(minus nostalgia shows), her versatility has allowed her to appeal to a totally different, older and more mature demographic that simply love her and it works for her. My grandmother and her sisters have no idea who “bad romance” Gaga is but they were at the dinner table ravvvvving about “a star is born” and jazz/guitar singing Gaga. I think this will allow her longevity, she made the right choice.
I always said it that she was making the right thing all these years. Had she stayed trying to release only pop albums she would have suffered the biggest of failures because for some reason superficial pop fans and media had a vendeta against her (well it happens to everybody once they become too big). She made the right choice and I always said she was going to be able to survive because she HAS the talent. Something you cannot say about Katy Perry or Rihanna. The moment they fail at releasing pop hits the moment they will be ended (well, Katy´s run kind of already ended forever).
