From Adele to Beyonce‘s, R&B legend Stephanie Mills is no stranger to landing on the sh-tlist of some of Pop music’s biggest names for her less-than-favorable takes on the divas.
Tuesday (October 13), she added another to the list: Lady Gaga.

Ahead of the Wednesday (October 14) premiere of her highly anticipated chat with BET’s ‘The Jason Lee Show,’ a clip from Mills’ interview is already making its viral rounds on social media.
In it, the 69-year-old recounts a not-so-positive interaction with Mother Monster.
“I feel like Lady Gaga is a culture vulture,” Stephanie started before sharing the full story supporting her belief.
For context, a “culture vulture” is defined as a person who “adopts, profits from, or exploits elements of a community or subculture without genuinely respecting, crediting, or giving back to it.”
In her story, Mills alleges a member of Gaga’s team requested she perform her 1989 smash ‘Home‘ (originally from ‘The Wiz‘). Initially reluctant, Stephanie says she ultimately obliged only to be mistreated and ignored by the ‘Poker Face’ hitmaker.
“[She’s] very disrespectful,” said Mills before concluding, “I hope you remember what you did. I feel like you owe me an apology.”
Ouch!
Stephanie did not specify when the interaction allegedly occurred. And, at writing, Gaga has not responded publicly to the accusation.

Wow, Stephanie does not hold back… ever…love that about her. It does sound like Gaga owes her an overdue apology for being so disrespectful towards her.
