The performer recently ended her relationship with longtime label RCA and soon after split with her manager (despite the latter actively touting that they were negotiating a new record deal).
With a blank slate across across the board, she revealed that she is celebrating the changes in her life by creating a brand new brand material.
Interestingly, she says she’s been working on the as yet untitled set for 10 months:
Immediately after making the reveal, she received a tidal wave of love from excited fans.
Though plagued by extremely modest sales, the star’s discography has generated millions of streams and radio play for select songs. Put simply, there’s buzz but also a clear need to connect the right dots.
Will her recent professional switches change things for the better?

Well ok. I like some of her music, but Joyride wasn’t that good and her refusal to define her sound makes her seem scattered and inconsistent. So hopefully, this is the project really puts her on the map, but I’m not holding my breath because her fans are famous for building the hype with “she’s coming!” declarations and then letting her flop because “sHe dIDn’T gEt EnOUgH pROmO”.

I think when Tinashe releases music that is true to her, she will be successful. I say this as someone who owns her mixtapes and albums…i will keep my fingers crossed and ears open.

Friendly/ class competition tends to fuel things nicely. With her Normani on the scene she can pull lots of attention/ support. I’m rooting for her. Hoping she can filled the next Rihanna void. The rise of a new a new baddie w/ an edge is needed.
Sadly her time is up. It will take a miracle to recover from her last flop album.
