Per The Blast, the sportswear giant are prepping a collaboration with the late rapper’s Estate; one designed to honor his impact and ensure his children are looked after.
Speaking at the Future Of Everything Festival, Puma exec Adam Petrick said of the company’s Nipsey plans:
“We had a lot of things that were coming, and hopefully a lot of things we will still do with his estate. We’ll work with his family and we’ll support his kids.”
In life, beyond his rap career, the MC owned a number of businesses – including his Marathon Clothing store, which he was killed in front of.
News of the Puma venture comes on the heels of the release of the video for DJ Khaled‘s ‘Higher’ – which was shot just days before the rapper’s death.
Much respect to him, but he was not anywhere close on the caliber of recognition, celebrity or artistry when he was alive.

The choices of trying to improve his community and lives of black people? Nipsey might have been in a ”gang” but there wasn’t any stories of him fighting, robbing, getting into drive-by shoot outs like so rappers. 99% of the time he was always involved in something positive for his community.
