Lil Nas X rode his way to the top of the charts with ‘Old Town Road’ and carved out record-breaking success in the process. For, the song’s viral explosion resulted in a 19-week stint at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Now looking to establish a legitimate career beyond the song, X is hitting the promo trail in support of follow-up effort ‘Panini’ – which is lifted from his ‘7’ EP.
His latest stop was the Angie Martinez Show on Power 105.1.
During his visit, the 20-year-old opened up about the rollercoaster of the last nine months, the ways in which his life has changed, coming out as LGBTQ, working at Taco Bell, meeting Rihanna, Taylor Swift, and more.
Check out the fun-filled interview below…
He came across really well here. Kudos.
Do you see it for Lil Nas X longterm?
Our black gay king looking like a hòmo thug. He looks like a top that suck ďick. Lol
He looks like bottom to me. Chris brown is top, Trey Songz is bottom, August is bi, Jason Derulo is drag queen
Why do gay men sexualize EVERYTHING omg then cry for acceptance and respect? Perverts!!!
Shut it Clarkson F A G. I already tol’ u your chicken head thoughts belong at the bottom of the comments or not said at all. You are classless vile trash.
Him coming out will definitely prolong his career.
Him getting a veteran like Billy ray cyrus on old town road was a very smart move.
He is funny, young, relatable etc.
Lil nas x is here to stay. he needs to release the panini video and rodeo video quickly. Strike while it’s hot
He isn’t hot like Chris or Trey or August….. even he came out and that’s made no difference… using LGBT tactics to attract fans, this is low as Taylor Swift..
He played his cards right, but I think if he focuses on his LGBTQ audience he can sustain some kind of longevity.
He’s so normal and relatable, what a cool guy ?I think he has a lot going for him, he has captured multiple demographics to remain 19 weeks at number 1, and like Ariana and Taylor, the younger demographic of you give them what they like will ride or die with you. I think the LGBTQ thing isn’t what he wants to be famous for, but young gay people will relate to him and buy his music as well because he is someone who is where they are in their lives age and sexuality wise and they’re are many artists in his lane they can relate to like that. ??????
** aren’t any artists in his lane **
They can’t give Frank ocean and lil nas x a dang on stylist, what do they be wearing
You have to work and use the computer and internet, and if you can do that and dedicate some time each day then you can do this with no problem.
I have been working with this for a month and have made over $2,000 already. let me know if you need more help.

I think he’s a cool guy, he’s music is fun and unique
Im glad he’s true to himself
Y’all only go so hard for that ugly little boy because he is gay. Half of the same fonts fan girling over him now, before he came out trashed him here daily. Sis, music is trash. Gay people are so predictable. The same ones going so hard for him are going to be writing think pieces once he reveals his boyfriend to be some funny looking white twink, mark my word.
He has a personality that just makes you smile ?. I know looks are subjective, but I don’t know why people call him ugly, he is a adorable to me. I just think because he is dark skinned and not the “traditional “ light complexion people call beauty in the black community. He does need work on his interview skills, he tends to move a lot during interviews and think hard before he answers . I think he came out at a good time and it didn’t take over his career. He didn’t come out and disappear like most people. He bravely did it , faced it, and even made jokes about himself.

That interview sucked!!!! I liked him before I saw the interview. He definitely needs media training.
