He IS promoting his album! Didn’t you watch the interview?? This is the second time he has mentioned his next single with Wayne and Busta! He mentions his album in every interview he does now! So I guess ‘Only Girl’ was groundbreaking material and doesn’t sound at all like any other dance track we have ever heard before.
Oh yeah…and ‘What’s My Name’ is full of real deep lyrical content. I mean with lyrics like ‘Oh na na….what’s my name, Oh na na….what’s my name’ Those are words that only a seriously accomplished songwriter could ever come up with.

I’m excited about FAME and I know he has been working with Dallas Austin, Timbaland, Swizz Beats, and more folks so I know it will be a very creative album with a different sonic find. I think releasing the mixtapes were a great idea especially since Deuces and No BS were birthed. It helped recapture the urban audience that felt Graffiti was too much of a departure from his more R&B-influenced albums. Another You and Life Itself are are absolute favorite songs on IMZ2 and those songs should be on F.A.M.E.

He said that his next single off F.A.M.E. would be a song he did with Lil Wayne & Busta Ryhmes and he’s rapping on it. I like him rapping on the mixtapes, but to bring it to his album, I totally disagree, and his label should tell him that’s not a good look.I really don’t think he should release another rap song right now, I’m ready for Calypso and Sweetheart! And he don’t rap all that well to me, he sounds like a little kid trying to be someone else…sorry I love CB, but that’s my opinion.

I agree! I’ll admit, I was a bit impressed with some of his raps on his mixtape, (the first one mind you) but now it is just over kill. That video with Jae Millz honestly had me wanting to shank my ears! I love Breezy to death, I think he is talented and I love a lot of the stuff he has released recently (i.e. ‘Champion’ love that one) I totally respect the fact that he is exploring all avenues of his craft, I was just hoping that with features from Wayne and Busta on the record, CB would stick to singing. But again we haven’t heard the record yet so who knows, his verse could be hot and we don’t even know what the song is about.
I think it is obvious that CB has a lot of creative control over his music. I don’t think Jive can tell him not to rap on his records if he wants to. I just think that they probably encourge him not to use certain language and not to be as explicit as he has been on his mixtapes. That’s why none of his albums have a ‘Parental Advisory’ on them and I don’t think that this one will either. Jive has obviously heard the record and approved it cause CB is already promoting it. Plus Wayne and Busta are two heavy weights in the industry and I am sure Jive was happy to have them contribute to his project.
The is like one of Wayne first records since he has been released and we haven’t heard from Busta in a while, so I am sure this record is gonna get a lot of buzz until it is released and if it is hot should definitely blow up! Which is great for Breezy!
Again, I don’t want to judge it caues I haven’t heard the record yet, it could be really hot and I am excited about it, but I do really hope that this is the only record he is rapping on his album.

Agreed! That’s why I think his mixtapes were so important. His music from his album wasn’t getting radio play so he found a way to keep get his music out there. He went back to all roots but at the same time he gave us a side of him we had never heard before. It was risky but it worked. Not to mention his fans appreciated all the free music. It let them know that he realldy did care and it’s not all sales to him. He would rather give us free music than to give us no music at all.
He is about to have three songs in the top ten on the r&b charts next week which is great! I think that he knows that his urban audience is the most forgiving and that is who he is appealing to the most righ now. ‘Yeah 3x’ is doing well on the mainstream and pop charts, but since his urban audience isn’t exactly feeling that sound, he makes sure we have something else to keep our attention.
I can’t wait to hear what sounds he is gonna have on ‘F.A.M.E.’ I swear spring on 2011 can’t get her soon enough! *sighs*

There has been a horrific split between the fans, because once upon a time some of us was fans of both, than it came a time when we felt we had to choose sides.

I don’t really agree though. People shouldn’t be calling either one of them names. It all goes back to what I said before, people keep using to sad excuse, of ‘Oh well they call my fav names, so I’m going to go do the same thing back.’ It’s so childish, it really is, and it needs to stop.

Because when he started dating Rihanna, I became a fan….but after the innocent, it was like whatever for me. (i didnt like his music like that anyway) but when he was with Rihanna for some reason i liked him as a person, i thought he was a very charming, cute guy. And he still is…but his music is not my cup of tea, like Rihanna isnt yours.
Hopefully i’ll like F.A.M.E Tho …i dont mind supporting his music. Its just entertainment…not as serious as some stans make it out to be, theres room for everybody.

NO! She was not abused and the photoshoped pictures are a lie. You must not be from the United states if the charges where to be filed any other way they would have done it.
Know extreme sentence could have been placed, the sentence was right for what the crime was. The both of them where in the wrong, she did not want to testify, not on any behalf hers are his, she kept leaving the country.

I agree, Rihanna DV women injustice, when she took her problems to the media, but we know it was a ploy for future use for her up coming album, which she waited until her album to come out to, talk about the incident.
Rihanna has played the incident and the victim to her benefit, not once did she give Chris Brown any thought she plowed right over him with that bus, running over him numerous time. Rihanna went for Chris Brown jugular vein, career wise she almost killed him, of course Chris Brown did not help himself at all by fighting with her in the first place.
Chris Brown knew he was wrong for fighting with her and every day he could kick his a** for doing so, but that is in his past, he can’t take it back. Like I said Chris Brown need to let certain woman not come in his life. He needs a good girl.

If you don’t like Chris Brown then thats fine but don’t use his fans as an excuse for not liking him and don’t throw shade at him just to try and make your fav look good when only its makes her look bad. Always looking for us to mess up and make light of something that is not easily accomplished in the world today. Look at all these celebrities getting in trouble over and over again. Look at some of the people in your neighborhood that keep repeating the same acts. I am proud of Chris he changed the cycle, he was brought up in an abusive household and he is changing his life and becoming a better man than the one he was around. I think people can’t accept that some people can change for the better.
