Amazing. Great choreo, great styling, great cinematography. I can’t get over how they all still look the same 15 yrs later. Only critique was there was too much Nicole. I wanted to see the other girls in single shots and not paired up.

Look… the video is a slay… but come TF on! It’s STILL a Nicole show. They could have AT LEAST given them ALL changes of clothes to make us lose track of how many times Nicole was the main focus. Yes, Nicole is the brand. Here’s the thing….I wholeheartedly believe if Nicole was introduced to us as a solo artist and a member of groups, she would be a mega star by now. The girl literally carries this group. She’s the only one with actual vocals and she’s also the best dancer. When you pair Nicole’s singing/dancing/performance ability with her looks….she is easily up there with Beyonce, Gaga, JLO, Rihanna etc. she should be up there with those women. But PCD really held her back and tainted her chances as a solo artist.

She lacks the contagious magnetism with which Bey or RiRi were born. She’s an extremely sensitive self-doubter whose her mere presence can’t get a crowd crazy. Plus, in an ageist industry, nobody will invest in a 41-year-old who knows her contractual rights and can’t reach streaming audiences unless Nicole gets a Nickelodeon (Nicoleodeon?) kids show that has her sing and sell said songs. Kids are where the money’s at. If the kid likes, the grandparents approve, and the parents buy . . . Ka-ching!
Actually, I’m with you regarding Nicole’s talent. She should be a force to be reckoned with. But personally, I feel that her talent really comes through with the girls. She somehow isn’t all that alone, but maybe it is just because her solo music wasn’t as good as with the girls. But I agree with you, when it comes to PCD, she is the brand.

I disagree. Her solo music didn’t properly show her vocals until she decided to release Euro dance music stuff. The vocal arrangement on Baby Love for instance is WACK her voice sounds super strained. The songs she was creating were subpar compared to the stuff PCD were handed over

Here’s the thing. Nicole shines in a group setting. Her exotic beauty is multiplied when put next to these 4 white women. Our eyes looks to her, even with the four other girls. Alone, although still beautiful, there is something missing for people. If the other ladies would have played their role as back up to Nicole, then PCD really should have given her all that she needs. But when people/fans started to get this false narrative that this was a band/group, then she wanted solo success with just her name. The Pussycat Dolls were a burlesque that would get celebrity women to come in and lead the show. Now Nicole was that for the mainstream PCD. I think if they called them Pussycat Dolls feat Nicole, like they did for Jai Ho. I think she would have stuck wit the group.

A Filipino (Asian) girl leading a group of white girls and slaying it together in unison. I am here for it. Besides Bruno Mars, H.E.R. and Nicole (maybe a couple more) We have little to no Asian/mixed Asian representation in American pop music so I’m not concerned with the backup dancers getting time on the forefront, they slay in their own pocket, in their own right, not singing. This is Nicole’s group- always has been and always will be. Come on Pinay!

The video is an absolute serve. The song is a bop. But, in 2020, we want ALL of the girls to sing. I don’t want to just hear Nicole…and neither does the GP since all of Nicole’s solo songs flopped. I mean, are the other girls even able to speak? I don’t know how any of them sound. Sigh.

I dont get what y’all want with the other girls. They always have been the Backup dancers for a reason and actually none of yall supported them when they went solo. Nicole is the one with the most Charisma and Talent in the singing department. Melody was always straining and had not that much of appeal anyway. They are working pretty good as a group imo.

Nicole don’t forget your solo career was a major flop besides 2-3 songs that did fairly ok. She made her money being a contestant on various shows or a judge on X Factor.
