New Video: Pussycat Dolls – ‘React’

Published: Friday 7th Feb 2020 by Sam

The Pussycat Dolls have premiered the video for pulsating new single ‘React.’

Directed by Bradley & Pablo, the visual serves as the first offering from the Pop felines in a decade.

And it does not disappoint.

An all-out dance-affair, the clip sees Nicole Scherzinger, Ashley Roberts, Jessica Sutta, Carmit Bachar, and Kimberly Wyatt werk it like only they can.

Really, though? What are you waiting for? Watch the ‘React’ video below…

They came, they slayed, they conquered!

We love a choreo-only video when executed properly, and this was textbook slayage.

Dripping all sorts of sauce, the ladies delivered dynamite.

Packing plenty of replay appeal, it would be an injustice if this video doesn’t steer the song into the upper echelon of the charts. Because this, friends, is FIRE!

The general public acts like that don’t Remember NICOLE SNATCHING that mic from that talent show contestant a few years ago — showing how MEAN spirited she really is. Shes a THOT with an “OK” voice and Stripper moves. SHE’s OLD>

      • Lanafan1 February 7, 2020

She has a 4 octave range and can sing opera. She’s only 41. What can you do?

      • Lanafan1 February 7, 2020

IDGAF about her snatching the mic. She’s not the only person who has done that.

      • Deek February 7, 2020

Did you even watch the whole video? Her mic wasn’t working and they ended up sharing it.

      • AJ February 7, 2020

Bish she took the mic because her own was broken/not working. She cant ousting 99% of the current women in the industry. STFD

      • Lanafan1 February 7, 2020

        She can outsing*

  2. Meme February 7, 2020

Amazing. Great choreo, great styling, great cinematography. I can’t get over how they all still look the same 15 yrs later. Only critique was there was too much Nicole. I wanted to see the other girls in single shots and not paired up.

    • Around the way filet February 7, 2020

      Yessss they slayed that

    • Drinkmybussyjuice February 7, 2020

But when i said it was to much nicole a few days ago you basically said its the nicole show.

      • Meme February 7, 2020

You said that prematurely. You didn’t even see the video yet. My comment is based on the actual video. I have no problem with Nicole singing lead always because well…she’s the only singer. But the other girls are beautiful and dance well so they deserved more camera time.

  3. Adina… Adina… Say Adina February 7, 2020

Look… the video is a slay… but come TF on! It’s STILL a Nicole show. They could have AT LEAST given them ALL changes of clothes to make us lose track of how many times Nicole was the main focus. Clearly Melody was not here for this. People saying “Nicole is the brand” but if that’s the case… where are Nicole’s COUNTLESS attempts to forego it alone on the charts? This is ultimately a disappointment

    • Meme February 7, 2020

Yes, Nicole is the brand. Here’s the thing….I wholeheartedly believe if Nicole was introduced to us as a solo artist and a member of groups, she would be a mega star by now. The girl literally carries this group. She’s the only one with actual vocals and she’s also the best dancer. When you pair Nicole’s singing/dancing/performance ability with her looks….she is easily up there with Beyonce, Gaga, JLO, Rihanna etc. she should be up there with those women. But PCD really held her back and tainted her chances as a solo artist.

      • Clarks0oñ February 7, 2020

        PCs held her back?
Gurl u dont know what ur talking about

Nicole was never gonna make it solo cause she was too similar to beyonce.
Her look, her dancing, her style set was very beyonce-esque

Once u are compared to beyonce, ur career is practically over.
This is why I keep saying normani will flop.
        She’s too similar to beyonce.

      • PinotNoir February 7, 2020

She lacks the contagious magnetism with which Bey or RiRi were born. She’s an extremely sensitive self-doubter whose her mere presence can’t get a crowd crazy. Plus, in an ageist industry, nobody will invest in a 41-year-old who knows her contractual rights and can’t reach streaming audiences unless Nicole gets a Nickelodeon (Nicoleodeon?) kids show that has her sing and sell said songs. Kids are where the money’s at. If the kid likes, the grandparents approve, and the parents buy . . . Ka-ching!

      • XYZ February 7, 2020

Actually, I’m with you regarding Nicole’s talent. She should be a force to be reckoned with. But personally, I feel that her talent really comes through with the girls. She somehow isn’t all that alone, but maybe it is just because her solo music wasn’t as good as with the girls. But I agree with you, when it comes to PCD, she is the brand.

      • Moti25 February 7, 2020

The problem I have with this is that there was NO REASON for her to go solo. She already was

    • Lanafan1 February 7, 2020

Her attitude was the cause of her solo flop

      • Paulo February 7, 2020

Right. Talented yes but no charisma. Plus why is the solo music not even close to PCD music if it’s all her singing either way? All her solo songs are corny except for Poison

      • PinotNoir February 7, 2020

She’s a sensitive, intense perfectionist who took the s*** route solo at a time big voices stopped selling and isn’t THAT show-stopping alone. PCD is the best thing to highlight her talent.

      • Paulo February 7, 2020

I disagree. Her solo music didn’t properly show her vocals until she decided to release Euro dance music stuff. The vocal arrangement on Baby Love for instance is WACK her voice sounds super strained. The songs she was creating were subpar compared to the stuff PCD were handed over

    • AJ February 7, 2020

Do you h*** not understand? Nicole was the only one with a record deal. The others were played employees of Interscope records.

    • StarXavi February 9, 2020

Here’s the thing. Nicole shines in a group setting. Her exotic beauty is multiplied when put next to these 4 white women. Our eyes looks to her, even with the four other girls. Alone, although still beautiful, there is something missing for people. If the other ladies would have played their role as back up to Nicole, then PCD really should have given her all that she needs. But when people/fans started to get this false narrative that this was a band/group, then she wanted solo success with just her name. The Pussycat Dolls were a burlesque that would get celebrity women to come in and lead the show. Now Nicole was that for the mainstream PCD. I think if they called them Pussycat Dolls feat Nicole, like they did for Jai Ho. I think she would have stuck wit the group.

  4. Just Sayin’ February 7, 2020

Nice video but we are still getting Nicole and her back up dancers vibes. Can the other girls get some solo shots please.

  5. ??‍♀️Jazzy Da Bi Asian ??‍♀️Not ? TROLLmine ??‍♀️Nor ? TRASHmine February 7, 2020

A Filipino (Asian) girl leading a group of white girls and slaying it together in unison. I am here for it. Besides Bruno Mars, H.E.R. and Nicole (maybe a couple more) We have little to no Asian/mixed Asian representation in American pop music so I’m not concerned with the backup dancers getting time on the forefront, they slay in their own pocket, in their own right, not singing. This is Nicole’s group- always has been and always will be. Come on Pinay!

    • Deek February 7, 2020

I agree!!! No one mentions that

    • Charli Cheer Up February 7, 2020

As a Blackasian person I agree!

      • #TheTruth February 8, 2020

        She’s Hawaian, Philippina and Ukrainian.

  6. Bebo p. February 7, 2020

Song is no that good video is great they look amazing but is all Nicole again agree noting bad with that but they should play a bit more with the other girls

  7. Song Enthusiast February 7, 2020

Why are people complaining about Nicole!? Get over it already, enjoy it for what it is and not for what it’s not! The song is great and the video is fire period!

  8. Haterz Gon‘ Hate February 7, 2020

The Haterz don’t know what they want. I swear if you put them other girls on vocals it would be like throwing a thousand cats into a pit of snakes and the legacy of what is essentially the sound of PCD would be tarnished forever. The other other girls gettin’ paid and agreed to come back so move TF on and pick up your scalp off the floor ??‍♀️??‍♀️??‍♀️

    • Meme February 7, 2020

Agreed. I don’t want to hear them sing…like at all. But I do want to see more shots of them in the video. Like quality shots and not just a slit second before going back to Nicole.

  9. only facts February 7, 2020

The video is an absolute serve. The song is a bop. But, in 2020, we want ALL of the girls to sing. I don’t want to just hear Nicole…and neither does the GP since all of Nicole’s solo songs flopped. I mean, are the other girls even able to speak? I don’t know how any of them sound. Sigh.

    • PinotNoir February 7, 2020

They do speak and seem fun in interviews. Growly Melody always seemed too side eye-y.

    • Meme February 7, 2020

THEY CAN NOT SING. Like I don’t think y’all understand….they have zero vocals. The songs are 100% nicoles vocals with the exception a small humming and talking lines.

      • Haterz Gon‘ Hate February 7, 2020

Have the Haterz forgotten that on Doll Domination the girls had SOLO tracks? I didn’t hear anyone callin’ home to Mama about those vocals ……… ??‍♂️??‍♂️

    • Lanafan1 February 7, 2020

      We who?

  10. PinotNoir February 7, 2020

Nicole looking like Ariana in some shots. That’s a compliment with the 20-year gap. Song felt safe vs. the X-Factor version. Needs a faster, industrial remix me thinks. I doubt the girls mind less “time tobshine” if the pay’s divided equally. Nice effort.

    • B February 7, 2020

Exactly, the X-Factor version was much better, it’s too safe. I need more BASS!

      • PinotNoir February 7, 2020

Agreed. And they need to bring back the water splash on their c******* moment. And the writhing in water on all 4s.

  11. Keith February 7, 2020

It’s nice to see the girls back and I will always believe that Nicole should have been a big pop star. Wonder what the album itself will sound like. THIS song, tho….I dunno. Video is cute enough.

  12. Cûûmila Cebolla February 7, 2020

Oh, another Nicole solo song. Yikes.

  13. Clarks0oñ February 7, 2020

U guys k ow the deal so why yall acting brand new

Nicole is the lead singer , the rest are dancer.
    Dancers are ot vocalists
    Dancers dont sing, they dance

U dont wanna her a dancer singing, is not pleasant example normani

    • Cûûmila Cebolla February 7, 2020

But GP isn’t checking for solo Nicole either.
She needs the girls or at least a collaborator to snatch a hit. Kinda like Whôremela. ?‍♂️

  14. Cûûmila Cebolla February 7, 2020

This song is seriously lacking some edge

  15. Ok girl! February 7, 2020

Video is great! The girls look great! I just want everyone to shine this time…

  16. Paulo February 7, 2020

Eeh I dunno… I’m sure the straight boys will love watching this with the sound off but to me it feels a bit stale like they’ve done this before. PCD used to be so fresh and while they all look beautiful and I’m loving that Carmit returned I’d rather watch their old videos.

  17. pat February 7, 2020

looks like a solo artist and her back up dancers

  18. XYZ February 7, 2020

I dont get what y’all want with the other girls. They always have been the Backup dancers for a reason and actually none of yall supported them when they went solo. Nicole is the one with the most Charisma and Talent in the singing department. Melody was always straining and had not that much of appeal anyway. They are working pretty good as a group imo.

    • Cûûmila Cebolla February 7, 2020

Except it’s not a group when there’s one singer with a bunch of back up dancers ?‍♂️

      • Lanafan1 February 7, 2020

Except that’s what they signed on for!

    • pcd = waypipo fried chicken February 7, 2020

hahahaha is that so b*tch? please list all of Nicole’s single hits; i’ll wait…..

      • ESSENZE February 11, 2020

    • Paulo February 7, 2020

I been saying this – Carmit can definitely sing though. if they had let her and Melody share some leads with Nicole from the jump I bet you the group would have been even bigger.

  19. pcd = waypipo fried chicken February 7, 2020

i thought we left these b*tches in the first decade of this century after witnessing Melody riff her way past Nicole’s mediocrity that one time on stage!? aint no one here for this.

    • Lanafan1 February 7, 2020

She didn’t riff anything. She’s trash lol. Nicole has a 4 octave range

  20. Charli Cheer Up February 7, 2020

The thing is Nicole co-wrote the song which is why she & her manager(who manages the Dolls) feels some sort of entitlement to sing lead with no lines for the other Dolls.

  21. ERIC February 7, 2020

Not enough screen time and vocals from the other girls.

  22. #TheTruth February 8, 2020

Hmmm it’s pretty much the same old formula. Which worked back then but I’m not sure that’s what people want ?
Sure we all know she’s the leader but you can let people shine as well…

The song is more EDM oriented while their big hits are more Urban flavored. We’ll see how this performs…

Nicole don’t forget your solo career was a major flop besides 2-3 songs that did fairly ok. She made her money being a contestant on various shows or a judge on X Factor.
Sure she’s got a hell of a voice but she doesn’t know how to pick her material. I mean what a waste of a voice seriously. I don’t know who worked with her for all this time but everybody should have been fired.
