Lady Gaga is gearing up to release her sixth album ‘Chromatica’ on April 10th.
Seen by many as her return to the traditional Pop sphere, the set certainly reads as such on paper.
For, it’ll feature production from chart maestros such as Max Martin and BloodPop (both of who helmed the set’s lead single ‘Stupid Love’).
Also in the mix is Ryan Tedder, who confirmed his involvement earlier this month.
Now, he’s expanding on what folk can expect from LG6.
His words below…
Speaking to Official Charts, the OneRepublic star said:
“I’ve heard a few tunes and I was floored. It’s the coolest sh*t that’s going to drop in 2020. Trust me, it’s taking everything in me to not blurt it out because the song I was lucky enough to be apart of is a true unicorn song. It’s a bucket list for me and when it comes out, you’ll understand why.
BloodPop is very forward-thinking and progressive. I’m super stoked. [Gaga] took her time and she’s killing it. I think she’s going to give a lot of people what they want.”

When an artist has their team start revealing info about an album, and hyping it up, it usually always falls flat. Let the music speak for itself, because if it’s anything like “Stupid Love”, she can keep it. Apparently this is GaGa’s tactic since she cannot perform outside of her Vegas residency like Britney…which ultimately hurt some of her singles.

To think Gaga had the nerve to allude she’s a marketing genius just bcuz she used the web (something she almost attributes her dad for creating) to market her music.

LOL! I can name so many albums that these artists teams hyped up and they ended up being the worst of that artists career:
Britney Jean – “This is her most personal album ever”
Sweetener – “This will be huge”
Born This Way – “Album of the decade”
BROmance – “This will be her teenage dream” – Clarkson
etc etc
Oh and they hyped up Selena’s “Rare” and that album was…rarely on anyone’s playlist.

Born This Way was Grammy nominated for Album Of The Year. She told absolutely no lies about it. I love the album! 🙂 Ryan Tedder has his “moments” of songs I like so I value his opinion. He co-wrote and produced the song Welcome To New York on Taylor’s 1989 which I truly enjoy so bring it Ryan. And I always trust Lady Gaga’s songwriting pen (we all know she co-wrote whatever Ryan is talking about….haha). 🙂
