‘Move Ya Hips’ hitmakers A$AP Ferg and Nicki Minaj are making major moves on the Hot 100.
As reported here, the duo’s reunion single – delivered over two years after they collaborated on the remix to his first top 40 hit ‘Plain Jane’ – was predicted to make a top 5 debut on the refreshed Hot 100.
However, while such was ultimately not the case (as we reported here), it certainly doesn’t spell a loss for Ferg or Minaj.

Thanks to a week’s worth of warm responses on radio, digital downloads, and streaming platforms, the Frankie P-produced ‘Move’ has moved into the top 20 region of the Billboard Hot 100 as revealed by the Music Bible Monday (August 10).
Debuting at #19, the chart win marks Minaj’s 38th career top 20 hit (third this year alone) and the first ever for A$AP Ferg and MADEINTYO‘s respectively. What’s more, the feat was accomplished ahead of the tune’s official music video.
