As the coronavirus pandemic continues to rage on, its effects are being felt all across the music industry.
For, the latest festival to get cancelled is none other than Coachella.

Dr. Cameron Kaiser, the public health officer for Riverside County, where the annual festival is held every year announced the news via Twitter.
Due to the pandemic, Public Health Officer Dr. Cameron Kaiser today (Jan. 29) signed a public health order canceling Coachella Valley Music and Arts, Stagecoach Country Music festivals planned for April 2021. We look forward to when the events may return. https://t.co/YAIn8uTea9

This is not the first time that the festival has been cancelled due to the pandemic.
Originally set to take place in April 2020 the iconic California-based festival was back to October of 2020 and then to April 2021 (as we reported here) before officially being cancelled.
Original headliners were supposed to be Rage Against the Machine, Travis Scott, and Frank Ocean.
