Rap was not a thing in mainstream music then, so certainly tra rap would’ve been an absolute tragedy for any artists career. Drugs were taken alot more seriously back then as well, and that seem to be one of Futures main focal points. So if he did release that album then, which it’s not as if it did much in its own time, he would’ve flopped tremendously, had loads of bad press and been under investigation.
