Prince‘s estate has blessed fans by sharing the previously unreleased track, ‘Born 2 Die.’
The soul-infused track tells the story of people trying to survive through poverty.
Across the song, he sings:
“She sells everything, from A to Z / Anything just to keep her free from the / From the hustle of the streets / She left the church a long time ago / Said they couldn’t teach what they did not know.“
‘Born 2 Die’ will appear on Prince’s ‘Welcome 2 America’ album, which was previously announced (as we reported here).
