The ‘Easy On Me’ singer won an Emmy last night (September 3) at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards 2022.
She took home the Outstanding Variety Special (Pre-Recorded) award for her CBS special ‘Adele One Night Only,’ which was broadcast last November.
Hosted by Oprah Winfrey, ‘One Night Only’ fused personal conversation with powerful performances of songs both new and known.
In scoring the Emmy win, Adele inches closer to EGOT status. For, she’s now won an Emmy, GRAMMYs, and an Oscar. A Tony Award is all that remains.
