Another day, another Kodak Black diss.

The ‘Super Gremlin’ rapper, no stranger to riding headlines for controversial comments made about Lauren London at the time of Nipsey Hussle‘s death, PNB Rock‘s girlfriend at the time of his death, and others over the years, is back in the news for taking aim at Latto for snagging the ‘Song of the Year’ award at the 2022 BET Hip-Hop Awards.

After being bested by the ‘Big Energy’ rapper for the top honor at the BET Hip-Hop Awards (which aired October 4), Kodak took to Instagram to share his disappointment over the loss.

“This whole sh** looked like a damn plot,” he said in the IG Live video captured by our friends at TSR. “Then I look at the ‘gram like what shorty blocked me for? They probably hollerin’ at BET, like don’t give him that sh**. I told [people] weeks ago. Watch they finna play with me and give it to frappuccino.”

His comments suggested Latto’s win was due to a female empowerment movement and not merit.

Once the rapstress got wind of Black’s bitter statement, she took to the same platform to offer a subtle clap back.

Black wasn’t done, however.  Taking to Twitter late Wednesday night (October 5), he continued to dole out insults.

In addition to saying Glorilla’s summer anthem, ‘FNF (Let’s Go),’ was more deserving of the honor, Black suggested his followers boycott BET over Latto’s win.

Latto’s fans know this isn’t the first time she’s been tangled in headlines with Kodak.

Earlier this year, he was accused of sexually harassing the rapper in exchange for being asked to feature on her sophomore studio album, ‘777’ (as we reported here).  She later clarified he was not the artist mentioned in her story about how men try to take advantage of women in the music industry.
