As if anticipation for the November 11 arrival of the ‘Black Panther’ sequel, ‘Wakanda Forever,’ hadn’t already reached a feverish pitch, the unveiling of its official soundtrack will definitely send excitement for the film into overdrive.
Ahead of its theatrical release, Roc Nation Records – in conjunction with Def Jam Records and Hollywood Records – have lifted the lid on the 19-song project produced by the film’s director Ryan Coogler as well as composer Ludwig Göransson, Archie Davis (chief creative officer at Def Jam), and Dave Jordan.
Featuring big names like Future, Burna Boy, Stormzy, Tems, E-40, Fireboy DML, and others, the soundtrack is most famously kicked off by the heart-wrenching tune ‘Lift Me Up’ – the long-awaited musical return of Rihanna.
