‘SWV & Xscape: The Queens of R&B’ has had social media timelines in a tizzy thanks to its drama straight out of the gate.
The Bravo series spotlights the iconic groups as they prepare for an epic joint show comprised of their biggest hits.
Prior to now, the lion’s share of the friction aired has been between Xscape members/sisters LaTocha and Tamika Scott.
However, in the run-up to taking to the stage, tensions rise between both SWV and Xscape.
And the unease centers on who will headline their collaborative show. In a fresh preview, Kandi advocates for her collective, while the Taj is especially vocal about opposing.
Before episode 3’s airing on Sunday night, peep a sneak peek:

Release Some TensioN album was 🔥🔥 lil Kim & Foxy Brown on the album.. Even though they was mad at puffy for charging them a lot money for a recycle beat album still fire till this day
I personally love both groups couldn’t really feel good about picking one from the other All you ladies can Sang!!!! THE NAME OF YOUR TOUR SHOULD BE
THE LEGENDARY LADIES OF R&B ESCAPE &SWV
E IS BEFORE S GRAMMATICALLY!!!!!
But it’s Xscape not Escape…..
It may be petty reality tv drama but Tiny was right. SWV might be the bigger sellers but Xscape has the bigger fanbase in 2023 and you can thank Kandi and Tiny for that. Xscape sold out a 25 city ARENA TOUR. It wasn’t a throwback tour with 10 other artists on the bill either it was their tour. They were headliners with Monica as an opening act. Kandi and Tiny introduced a whole new generation to Xscape. And that’s not taking anything away from SWV’s talent or success.
Everyone who was around in the 90s knows that SWV was the more successful any bigger act. Xscape does not have the catalog to be on the same calibur as the “S…W….V “
Ummm…. They should co-headline. SWV is the bigger group, yes Kandi and Tiny are popular because of reality tv and Tiny’s drama with TI, but SWV has recently received several newly RIAA Certifications that have pushed them to selling 40 million units. Yes Xscape also had recent updated certifications that pushed them to 14 million, but both groups are legacy acts, nostalgia, they should co-headline and share that bag. Love to Kandi and Tiny but they’re in the wrong. There’s enough money to go around.
