Wendy Williams‘ much-anticipated podcast is reportedly kaput.

According to The Sun, the former shock jock is said to have updated friends that “there is no podcast.”
Announced last summer, the podcast pivot was presented as an exciting new chapter for Williams following the end of her long-running daytime talk show.
The latter was preceded by a lengthy absence from the series due to a plethora of health issues and eventually led to guest host Sherri Shepherd being given her own show that now airs in the same slot.
Per the same report, the source added:
“It’s strange, because she is saying there is no podcast, but is also telling people she’s going to return to TV.
It’s hard to figure out what is based in reality.”
Interestingly, the Instagram account for The Wendy Williams Experience Podcast has been active this month.
Time will tell if actual episodes will come to fruition or whether – as it’s claimed – it’s a non-starter.
More than anything, we wish Williams the best.

What does canceling a podcast even look like? I mean ANYONE with a smart phone and an internet connection can start a podcast. There’s no special approval or financial backers needed.
It’s very different when you have a huge following like Wendy. She’d get more backing, theirs podcast deals, special celebrity interviews, contracts ect. Regular podcasts don’t have all of that.
