Ryan Coogler has blazed the big screen with both ‘Black Panther’ and follow-up ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.’
Now, the director is reportedly turning his attention to television with a brand new take on ‘The X-Files.’

Speaking in an interview with On the Coast with Gloria Macarenko, ‘X-Files’ creator Chris Carter appeared to confirm a revival of the show helmed by Coogler.
He said:
“I just spoke to a young man… Ryan Coogler… who is going to remount The X-Files with a diverse cast. So he’s got his work cut out for him, because we covered so much territory.”
The original run of ‘The X-Files’ was headlined by Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny.

As for “diverse cast,” that only stands for black people. Not Mexicans, Chinese etc. Blacks are the only ones who matter, remember?
I agree that the debate is always black VS white.
Everyone should be represented.
I don’t understand the need to reboot these shows with a “diverse” cast.
Be brave and create new shows. Don’t be a coward and feel the need to go for existing licences. Just like it would be impossible to establish brand new heroes, characters or whatever you want to call them.
And that would be a much better thing for all the people who aren’t represented enough.
