Deeming Madge “the ultimate co-sign for this song” (which also features Playboi Carti), the star told Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1:
“I’ve always wanted to work with her. I’ve always wanted to write and produce a Madonna album…well, co-produce with her, of course. She’s a visionary and she has such a singular vision, and I just want to come into her world and create a classic Madonna album. That was always my dream. Hopefully this is the appetizer for that.”
‘Popular’ functions as the first taste of ‘The Idol Vol. 1’ soundtrack, which arrives on June 30.
Before then, ‘The Idol’ – starring The Weeknd – premieres June 4 on HBO at 9pm ET/PT.

madonna needs to work with unknown producers again, her sound is everywhere, and she needs to reverse her fillers and injections.
i would love for him to produce her album. het formula hasnt worked since 2008 so a actual do over of her sound could give her another hit album. popular is a dope song
