After taking a 20-year break to pursue solo ventures, the iconic 90’s boyband NSYNC stunned music lovers with their history-making reunion single ‘Better Place‘ (found aboard the 2023 ‘Trolls Band Together‘ soundtrack).
And though many were bummed to learn that no official news of a tour or new album followed the ‘Place’ release, the group’s former frontman Justin Timberlake says fans shouldn’t give up hope just yet.
Hot on the promo trail in support of his latest single, ‘Selfish‘ (the lead release from his forthcoming album ‘Everything I Thought It Was‘), Justin dropped by ‘The Kelly Clarkson Show‘ on Tuesday (January 30) to dish on his new solo music, upcoming world tour, and more.
Amid talking about those ventures, Clarkson quizzed the 42-year-old about his former chart-topping group.
“We’ve been in the studio,” he shared after reminiscing on ‘Better Place.’ “So there may be a little something in the future.”
His statement echoes those delivered by groupmates Lance Bass and Joey Fatone who took to press in November to assert that plans around an official reunion have at least been discussed.
At writing, no tentative dates are attached to a tour or new album.
Boring….next?
He knows his solo career is flopping. So so sad!
Joey’s interview last year with The Hollywood Reporter and this one here from Justin make it clear that NSYNC is just on standby in case Justin’s comeback needs more help. Sad they let themselves be treated this way a second time. He wants to be solo – tell him he’s on his own.
We don’t care about the old grandpas unless they’re performing the past hits
This lying m*********** lol
