no, beyonce do not need to got there, she’s bigger than the MTV stage now, they need to be having something special if she is to perform there. She’s too legendary now, her performance of “single ladies” was historic, anything more will be less than that. Michael, Madonnna, and Janet, and Whitney only made special appearances after they graced the stage and made history in their first few MTV performances.
I think Beyonce wont do it, she is doing things different 4 era. I think she is thinking, it’s time for my girl kelly to blaze that stage instead of me.

Accords to nielson rating scan during the Billboard awards, the show received it’s highest ratings when Beyonce was on. When the show opened it was at 7.4 million. When Beyonce came on it was at 9.2 million, the half hour after her performance it was at 8.4, and everybody was talking about her performance days after the show. Don’t get me wrong I LOVE Britney and would LOVE to see her perform, but if she’s gonna give a half assed performance, I rather her not perform. She’ll just look stupid if people like Chris Brown and hopefully Beyonce and Lady GaGa perform. But i’m still waiting 4 that day when she performs and absolutely kills it. I know it will happen eventually, it’s just a matter of when.
I really hope Beyoncé does perform, but now I’m actually unsure as to if she will. Earlier this weel I saw a huge poster of her with VMA’s written across it, but I’m not sure if that means she’s performing, or just getting an award. She the main reason most people even watch these award shows anymore. She’s become number one for blazing the stage and heating up the audience. And if she does perform, it would more than likely be for the performance of her next single “Party”. She does seem to be doing things a little differently with “4” though. with her status, she’s mainly only performed for main events with a small show performance every now and then. And mostly more intimate performances. Her upcoming show, “4 Intimate Nights With Beyoncé” sold out in 22 seconds. Ugh, I hope she does the VMA’s. Or I’m not really watching. Lol

Yeah i heard about her knocking paul McCartney of the number 1 concert seller, that’s quite amazing. Haha, i am a massive Taylor fan, but at the sametime if i build her up to much, i get crap from everyone on here… so im being modest about her. Lol, I guess to each his own. But have you listened to her latest album? Speak Now does not have one damn high-school song. Yes, she writes about love and breakups, family, but which artist you know doesn’t sing about relationships? She’s admitted that’s where she finds passion as a songwriter. I for one find her lyrics are refreshing from the oversexed industry. She wrote her 1st album surrounding her teenage yrs 15-16, Fearless 17-18, and Speak Now 19-20. I like CU, been to both concerts and Taylor’s blows Carrie’s out of the water IMO. I love music of all genres and I can appreciate a good singer-songwriter in Taylor.

I’m waiting for Jay, Bey and Kanye to perform Lift Off. Lift Off is being released as a single on August 23rd and hope she also performs the next single. I think there is going to be more performers than this…i’ll probably watch all performances.
Beyawnce need to be performing at places like the grammy’s. She’s too established and talented to be apart of Justin Bieber pop type of award shows like mtv. Only person that runs mtv is rihanna. She’s almost too good for the VMA’s herself even tho she’s won grammy’s too.

YOu and I isn’t big yet because it hasn’t been released to the radio. when the album dropped it hit #7 on iTunes and it wasn’t even a single yet, I’m sure it’ll do just fine. And i feel like these people who are saying bad things about lady gaga’s performance obviously have never seen her live. she’s fantastic and original so if you’re gonna talk crap about people please do some research so you don’t say dumb stuff that makes you look like an idiot.
