Simon Guobadia is facing a fresh legal nightmare.
For, the businessman and ex-husband of Porsha Williams has been indicted on federal felony tax charges.
And in a dramatic development, an arrest warrant has reportedly been issued for the former husband of the ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ star.
The bombshell comes just over a year after Guobadia was deported from the United States.

According to TMZ,, Guobadia was indicted in Georgia federal court on October 27.
He faces two felony counts of assisting in the preparation and filing of false federal tax returns.
Prosecutors allege that the entrepreneur knowingly misrepresented his finances in two separate filings in 2021.
In March of that year, he allegedly reported $0 in taxable income, despite knowing the true figure was higher. The filing also referenced more than $45 million in gross sales for his company, Simcol Petroleum Limited, which prosecutors claim were underreported.
A second filing in July 2021 allegedly listed just $58,231 in taxable income and nearly $31 million in company sales. Again, federal authorities contend the actual figures were higher.
Adding to the seriousness of the situation, court records reportedly show that an arrest warrant has been issued. Whether Guobadia has been taken into custody is currently unclear.
The latest development follows his deportation to Nigeria in June 2025 following months in ICE detention.
It also arrives just months after Williams secured a multimillion-dollar victory in their bitter divorce battle, walking away with their Atlanta mansion, a Rolls-Royce, and a reported $1.56 million reimbursement entitlement.
The former couple’s financial dispute was settled in August, but Guobadia’s latest legal troubles represent an entirely separate matter.
He has not been convicted of the new charges, and the allegations remain to be tested in court.
