Diehard Omarion fans gearing up for what was supposed to be the April 5 kickoff of the GRAMMY nominee’s newest jaunt, ‘The Vbz on Vbz Tour,’ were stunned to receive notice that the North American trek had been canceled.
As reported here, the 20-city outing – designed to support his latest album (the December 2023-released ‘Sonic Book 2′) – was supposed to kick off in Texas before touching down in major markets like Houston, New York, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, and others ahead of wrapping up in Atlanta on May 19.
The tour boasted rising acts like Vedo, Jastin Martin, WanMor, and Tone Stith as opening acts.
Without disclosing the specific reason for the cancellation, O did take to Instagram Live recently to confirm the tour won’t go forward as planned but hinted that it may be revamped and coming later.
To sate disappointed fans until any new tour announcement, the former B2K frontman dropped a 5-song EP of his latest single, ‘Taking Off‘ (seen above), and a 7-song project ‘Sexsonics‘ (seen below).
