As reported here, legendary crooner Tony Bennett gets a helping hand from some of music’s leading ladies on his ‘Duets II’ album (due September 20). With a guest list that features names like Lady Gaga, Mariah Carey, Queen Latifah, and Amy Winehouse, it’s no surprise that buzz is building steadily as the album’s debut week draws nearer.
While we’ve already let you in on ‘Body and Soul’ – his duet with Winehouse (said to be her last recording), now fans can see what the other divas on board brought to the table.

I think Gaga is the most talented Artist of this Generation, you just have to see the “Artists” of this times, Katy Perry, Justin Bieber, Taylor Sw… I don’t want 2 offend anybody but i think my generation was better than this, you know Christina, Britney, N’sync, Backstreet Boys, J.Lo, Destiny Child, these young singers (Selena, Taylor) looks like kids but when britney and Christina were 16 they were hot.

That Tony Bennett can’t sing for s***! He sounds like an old, jazz singer, which I guess is the point, but he has the most boring and uninspiring voice. Lady Gaga isn’t that great of a singer, but her voice suits the song. She has a jazzy voice. Mariah Carey’s falsetto is AMAZING! OMG, her voice is so emotional and heavenly, but this music doesn’t fit her lovely voice.

Mariah is the best of course. She can sing anything. Jazz, hip hop, rap, rnb, soul gospel, dance, pop,… i guess that is why she has the most number ones, most weeks spent at number one, and sold over 200 million singles, albums, videos in around 20 years.
She sounds really good on the clip, her voice is clear and sings with ease.

Agreed!!! What are people even speculating that Mariah’s been digitally enhanced ?! I’ve seen her live a couple times and she can do CrAzYyY things with her voice, live and on the spot! You’re so right … People are so use to being lied to about a artists raw talent, it causes confusion when someone can just DO IT and DO it damn well. Jermaine Dupri claims the public hasn’t even heard all the crazy s*** Mariah can do vocally. I think that’s what we can expect from this new album, and after hearing the clip, i think she’s introducing us to another way she can use and change her voice (like she used her voice differently on Butterfly, Charmbraclet, and Memoirs) .
Both of these tracks sound like they’re gonna be great!! Lady Gaga’s voice is perfect for their song choice, and Mariah’s getting ready to blow the roof off this mother!
I have so much respect and love for the music these ol’ school crooners make, and huge props to Mr. Bennett for making himself so relevant again, and with his signature style of music. Excited to hear the album!

That’s going to be a great album. It’s nice to hear G hold her own on a track like that. She sounds like she stepped right out of the 20’s. Mariah as always delivered, right on time. I’ll be buying it!
