Is Jonathan Majors on the cusp of a career comeback?

That may well be on the cards because the actor’s hotly anticipated movie ‘Magazine Dreams’ is once again heading to the big screen.

Full story below…

Showered with praise upon its debut at the Sundance Film Festival 2023, the movie looked set for seismic success after being picked up by Searchlight Pictures.

Boasting what many deemed a career-defining performance from Majors, the film centered on the life, times, and struggles of a bodybuilder. The Oscar buzz was loud and intense.

And then things ground to a halt when the star was arrested after being accused of assault by then-partner Grace Jabari.

Following a headline-grabbing trial, Majors was cleared of the more serious of the charges but was convicted of third-degree assault and second-degree harassment.

Though he avoided jail and was sentenced to probation and therapy, his career took a hit. Indeed, the 43-year-old was dropped by his management, publicists, and Marvel Studios. With Searchlight quietly cutting ties ‘Magazine Dreams’ was scrubbed from release schedules.

Now, the Elijah Bynum-directed film has been picked up by distributor Briarcliff and a Q1 2025 release has been set.
