Watch: GloRilla Talks To Charlamagne Tha God About a Joint Album with Sexyy Red & Becoming a Minister in the Future Like Project Pat

GloRilla is leaving few stones unturned in promotion of her debut album, the October 11-released ‘Glorious.’

Having already rocked top award shows with live performances of songs from the set in the months leading up to its rollout (see: BET Awards, MTV VMAs), the 25-year-old has spent the last week on a whirlwind promo tour that’s taken her to ‘ET,’ ‘The Jennifer Hudson Show,’ and beyond – most recently popping up on Charlamagne Tha God‘s ‘Out of Context.’

While there, Big Glo hinted at big news that she may be set to drop an entire collaboration album with one of the year’s other big female rappers.

Details inside.

Walking track-by-track, Glo dished on the emotional process of creating what have become fan favorites from her star-studded debut album.

And while the LP features huge names like Megan Thee Stallion, Latto, Kirk Franklin, Kierra Sheard, Muni Long, and others, an easy standout is ‘Whatchu Kno About Me‘ – the project’s Boosie-sampling single featuring Sexyy Red.

As acclaim continues to pour in for the long-awaited union, Glo coyly replied to rumors ‘Whatchu’ won’t be the last Hip-Hop lovers hear of the duo.

“It may could come true one day,” she responded at the video’s 25:08 mark when Charlamagne asked if she and Sexyy were doing an album or mixtape together. “It may could be a mixtape…it ain’t started, but one day it could happen.”

And while the ‘Yeah Glo’ hitmaker didn’t directly say “yeah” or “no,” she did imply she and Red have already done multiple songs together.

Elsewhere in the insightful interview, the GRAMMY nominee – after chatting about love she received from Memphis female Rap icons La Chat and Gangsta Boo – discussed the criticism she and Hip Hop forerunners like Lil Kim and Foxy Brown have received over the years for racy lyrics.

“I don’t give a f-ck; the people who like it are going to listen to it,” she said around the 40:10 mark. “If you don’t like it, apparently you’re not one of my fans. Don’t listen to it.”

Finally, after spending much of the visit talking about her Christian upbringing and the influence religion has had on her life and career, Glo suggested she wouldn’t be surprised if a calling into ministry is in her future (much like her one of her idols Project Pat).

“I think it could happen one day,” she said. “People already be saying I minister to them with my music.”
