Beyonce Breaks Tie with JAY-Z to Become the Most GRAMMY-Nominated Act in HISTORY Thanks to 2025 Nominations

Published: Friday 8th Nov 2024 by Rashad

Because of hits found aboard her seventh studio album, 2022’s ‘Renaissance,’ music megastar Beyonce captured her 32nd career win at the 2023 GRAMMYs – a historic feat that made her the most-awarded act in the ceremony’s 66-year history.

This year, she’s galloped into the award show’s history books again thanks to her 2024 blockbuster project ‘Cowboy Carter.’

Details inside.

The 2025 GRAMMY nominations were revealed Friday (November 8) and list Bey in the Pop, Country, and general categories including Album, Song, and Record of the Year.

Bringing her total career nominations count to 99, the 43-year-old has now surpassed her husband JAY-Z for most nods in the award show’s history.

We’re sure he isn’t too worried, however.

Thanks to writing credits across various nominated projects, his updated nominations count sits at 88 – making him the most-nominated rapper ever. As if that’s not enough, he remains the show’s most-awarded rapper – tying Kanye West (24 each).

Tune in to the GRAMMYs when they air live on CBS on February 5, 2025 to see how many of the coveted trophies she collects.
