Shaboozey‘s breakout hit, ‘A Bar Song,’ has raised the Hot 100 bar again thanks to another week at #1 on the coveted count.
‘Bar’ is printed at the top of the refreshed all-genre chart; here are the numbers that powered the placement.
- Streaming ≈ 21.2 million U.S.-based streams
- Sales ≈ 5,000 digital downloads
- Radio Airplay ≈ 70.7 million audience impressions
Thanks to the 17th week of reigning, Shaboozey has not only broken the record of fellow Country superstar Morgan Wallen for the longest-running #1 Country hit ever but it’s also now the longest-running solo #1 hit overall (regardless of genre) in the Hot 100’s 66-year history.
Wallen previously owned both titles with 2023’s ‘Last Night‘ which ruled for a whopping 16 weeks.
Breaking a four-way tie with Morgan’s ‘Night,’ Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men‘s ‘One Sweet Day,’ and Luis Fonsi and Justin Bieber‘s ‘Despacito,’ ‘Bar’ is also now the sole owner of the #2 spot on the all-time list of longest-reigning #1s.
The overall champion remains Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus who ruled the tally for a jaw-dropping 19 weeks in 2019.
