Full story below…
Unleashed on November 22 sans any forewarning, the rapper’s sixth studio effort has been dominating the streaming scene in a seismic way.
Indeed, the 12-track collection has brought with it a number of burgeoning hits – including ‘squabble up’ – which is pacing towards a #1 debut on the Billboard Hot 100.
All, it appears, has whipped up the perfect storm of buzz around the album itself.
For, according to Hits Daily Double, the project is dancing towards a #1 launch on the Billboard 200 with first-week sales of:
291,000
With physicals not available until next year, the sum is based on a projected 324 million total streams.
The news comes as Lamar’s chart-topping hit ‘Not Like Us’ sits at the center of several legal filings made by Drake – who the song was aimed at.
Pretty good #s for no strong lead singles or prior release date.
Flop. Tyler the creator outsold 😭😭😭😭
