Nene Leakes may have gone through a contentious spell with the ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta,’ but it looks like it’s water the bridge. So much so that she is open to sailing back onto the popular Bravo show.

TMZ caught up with Leakes in New York City, where she was promoting her new podcast with Sierra Gates – Me & My Homegirls.
During the brief catch-up, she was quizzed about whether she could ever see herself back on RHOA.
Hesitating initially, Leakes replied:
“I don’t know. If the opportunity was right and if the check was on point, why not?”

Leakes’ words come after she returned to E!, which is owned by the show’s parent company. A development of note given how nuclear she went on the juggernaut when pursuing her since-dropped lawsuit regarding RHOA.
Time will tell if a comeback is on the cards. But what is for sure is that it won’t be for the forthcoming season 16. For, that installment (which features a fresh cast) has already wrapped filming and is due to hit screens in the coming months.

Now that boring Kandi’s gone and with Phaedra back, Nene and Kenya need peaches for next season. Maybe throw in Trina Braxton as a friend? She’s looking bad on dem Internet streets right now (for, allegedly, turning on her then-underage niece for reporting texting improprieties from her aunt’s late wasband, Gabe) and a Bravo check could get her outta bankruptcy. What y’all think?
