The power ballad became Gaga and Mars’ 6th and 9th #1 on the coveted count.

Now, with just hours to go before its second week in pole position is formally announced, it’s emerged that the single is tracking towards a third week at the top.

At the time of publishing, ‘Smile’ leads with over 40 chart points from its nearest competitor.

As reported, the soaring track will feature on Gaga’s forthcoming 7th studio album – which fans have aptly codenamed ‘LG7.’
