Billboard handed Palmer the reins for the evening at its annual celebration honoring women’s excellence in music. According to Dana Droppo, Billboard’s Chief Brand Officer, the organization was thrilled to have her leading the show.
She said:
‘We’re especially thrilled to have Keke Palmer as our host. Keke embodies the spirit of Women in Music: fearless, multifaceted and deeply respected across entertainment and culture. She brings a vivacious energy, sharp perspective, and lovable authenticity that will make this year’s show truly special.’
As of now, the 2026 honorees remained under wraps, but were expected to be revealed in the coming weeks. Droppo teased that this year’s lineup would spotlight women with “bold vision, global influence and artistic excellence across genres.”
Last year’s Billboard Women in Music honorees included Doechii as Woman of the Year, alongside GloRilla, Tyla, Muni Long, Erykah Badu, and several other stars honored across various categories.
Billboard Women in Music was set to take place on April 29 at The Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles.
