With the Michael Jackson biopic, ‘Michael,’ dancing towards its April 24 release, its lead Jaafar Jackson, is stepping into the promotional spotlight.
The rising star, who is the King of Pop’s nephew (by way of his father, Jermaine Jackson), steps into his uncle’s sequinned shoes for what is being billed as one of the year’s most eagerly anticipated sincematic events.
Directed by Antoine Fuqua, ‘Michael’ promises a raw, unvarnished look at the legendary life and legacy of the megastar.
The stellar cast features the likes of Colman Domingo, Nia Long, Laura Harrier, Juliano Krue Valdi, and Miles Teller.
Ahead of the film’s release, a behind-the-scenes look at Jaafar’s journey to the big screen has been released, featuring glimpses a intense rehearsals and a physical transformation already being praised.
