Taylor Swift is back with the anxiously awaited music video for the new single ‘Patient Zero.’
One of the four new tracks added to ‘Encore‘ – the official ‘Life of a Showgirl‘ deluxe edition released Friday (September 25) – the amply teased clip made its premiere at the MTV VMAs on Sunday (September 27).
“If you wanna party with somebody / who might know about the devil on his shoulder under his halo,” she sings over Max Martin production. “When the toxins take their hold / you’d rather die than let it go / But if you’re sick of him, I got you / I was patient zero.”
Directed by Swift, the cinematic clip stars Colin Farrell and Dakota Johnson.

Outta all her 10+ albums, her only song I liked and bought was “Ophelia”. Albums’s trash without it. Shouldn’t she be founding a family by now? Or is she intent on birthing an album (and irking our ears) for each decade of her life? 🤔
It’s kind to like she’s running out of inspiration. Like her motivation and drive is gone. Must be strange not having anyone to compete with when she’s set the bar so high, like her record breaking sales etc etc. but where does she go from here. And with no drama, no break ups, no arch enemies, nothing for her write about. Her career has thrived off of her personal life. She’s literally competing with herself. Her divorce album would most likely break her own records. Hmmm she could write an album about Blake lively I guess. I wonder what she’ll do apart from music. Can she act? Anyway, 4 songs is lazy for her. And they’re not even that great. Her friendship with Dakota is weird af.
