Jay-Z is making history in his home city, one stadium-sized night at a time.

Night two of the Hip-Hop titan’s sold-out Yankee Stadium run saw the rapper set a new record for the most tickets ever sold for a concert at the famed venue.

Moments ago, it was confirmed that the spectacle drew 45,832 fans last night (July 11).

The milestone came just one night after his opening show set the previous record, meaning Hov has already managed to top himself during the three-night celebration.

Where night one centered on ‘Reasonable Doubt’ and brought out Beyoncé, Blue Ivy Carter, Alicia Keys, and Nas, night two shifted the spotlight to ‘The Blueprint’ era with a fresh roster of surprise guests.

Eminem sent the crowd into a frenzy when he joined Hov for their revered collaboration ‘Renegade,’ before delivering a fiery showing of ‘Lose Yourself.’

The guest moments kept coming, with Slick Rick opening the show’s energy and Pharrell Williams later linking up with Hov for a slick run that included ‘Excuse Me Miss,’ ‘I Just Wanna Love U,’ ‘Frontin,’ and ‘Allure.’

An all-star array of names were on hand for the seismic spectacle too, with Dave Chappelle, Dwyane Wade, Gabrielle Union, Coco Jones, Fat Joe, Anthony Mackie, and more spotted in the building.

With records falling and surprise guests stacking up, Jay’s Bronx homecoming is quickly shaping up to be more than an anniversary victory lap.

And, as reported, the celebration is coming to more markets in the weeks and months ahead, with scheduled stops in Los Angeles, Paris, and London.

As for the NYC run, it concludes tonight (July 12) with the Extra Innings spectacle.
