Taylor Swift is taking the ‘Patient Zero‘ rollout to the screen.
With the hotly anticipated track incoming, the Pop titan has lifted the lid on the first trailer for its cinematic visual and simultaneously revealed where the full video will make its grand debut.

The moody preview reveals that Dakota Johnson and Colin Farrell will star alongside Swift in the clip.
Directed by Swift herself, the visual also boasts cinematography from Oscar winner Emmanuel Lubezki, whose credits include ‘The Revenant‘ and ‘Birdman.‘
The full ‘Patient Zero’ video will receive its world premiere during the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday, September 27.
The reveal further stacks what is already shaping up to be a major night for Swift.
As reported, she will receive the inaugural MTV VMA Artist Director Honors at the ceremony.
‘Patient Zero’ arrives as one of four new songs featured on ‘The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore,’ which drops in a mere matter of hours (September 25).
The expanded project was unveiled just one day after Swift first announced the single.
