The catchy cut dances in at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100, while also landing a chart-topping debut globally on Billboard’s worldwide tally.
On the Hot 100 dated October 31, the track becomes McRae’s highest-charting solo single, surpassing the #3 peaks of ‘Greedy’ and ‘Tit for Tat.’
Per Billboard, here are the US numbers that turbocharged its arrival during the October 16-22 tracking period:
- Streaming: 22.9 million streams
- Sales: 4,000 copies sold
- Radio Airplay: 12.7 million audience impressions
The wins extend worldwide, too.
‘Housewife’ opens at #1 on both the Billboard Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. charts, earning the singer her first summit debut on either tally.
Its Global 200 launch was powered by:
- Worldwide Streaming: 55.9 million streams
- Worldwide Sales: 6,000 copies sold
The song becomes her second #1 on both global rankings, following ‘Greedy.’
Released alongside its official video on October 15, the single kicks off the next chapter after ‘So Close to What’ delivered her first #1 album on the Billboard 200.
